Bananas Foster Overnight Oats

Bananas Foster Overnight Oats

There’s no excuse for skipping breakfast when you have these around! They keep for two or three days in the fridge, so you can make multiples at the same time. Just put everything together in a mason jar, shake it up and put it in the fridge overnight. In the morning, either eat as is, or heat up for a warming start to your day. These are even good as a treat at night. Garnish with fresh fruits if desired, or just enjoy the ones that have been sitting overnight in the jar with all the other ingredients.

I haven’t included any sweeteners in the ingredient lists, since the sweetness seems to dissipate overnight. So just add the sweetener of your choice right before eating, if you like.

I’ve included 1 tablespoon of steel-cut oats here – they stay quite firm and add a nice chewy texture. But if you don’t have them, don’t let that stop you from making this recipe.
